Kin Wong, founder, is a dance teacher, motivational speaker and advocate for dementia prevention through ballroom dance. Kin’s TEDx Talk aims to change a common misconception: ballroom dance is not a luxury, but a necessity for health.
In addition to writing and public speaking, Kin teaches Argentine Tango and promotes inclusive dance programs in Northern California using public television, media and by organizing dance events. Kin has been featured on TV talk shows to discuss ballroom dance and dementia prevention with subject experts and local politicians. Kin has a degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University and worked in the industry for over 20 years before discovering his love for dance.
Kathleen Hennessy is the communications lead for Ballroom Dance for Senior Fitness. She loves writing, foreign languages and is in her first year of learning to tango. Kathleen has a Masters in Public Health from Boston University and stays healthy by riding her bike and dancing every day.
Ellison Horne is the video producer and media expert for Ballroom Dance for Senior Fitness. He is the founder of Veterans Community Media Center which provides a creative media, technology and art space for veterans to prosper within the larger community with confidence, resourcefulness and compassion. Ellison is a skilled photographer, film critic and member of the Screen Actors Guild of America.
